    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G5
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

    Great Fat shave once again. Had tons of lather leftover after two passes. The G5 is always smooth. Not much else to report.

    It was my first vintage razor. I won it in a TSD raffle. It was a donation from Jim @Jayaruh. It came with a custom handle, beautiful but a little slick for me so I put this ball end handle on it.

    Whew. I am moving pretty slow this morning. I was able to sleep all night last night and took full advantage of it by oversleeping this morning. A change in the hardware for the next few days. I will be using the Tatara Masamune OC. It has a 0.73mm blade gap and a neutral to slightly negative blade exposure. I have always found the teeth on the razor sharp and rough. So I pulled out an old horse leather gun belt and stropped the bottom and front edge of the teeth. This smoothed things out nicely without polishing or damaging the matte finish. The brush is the Stuga Sandalwood Silvertip my wife brought back from Australia as a gift. The Stuga loaded and lathered the Schapenmelk with ease. The brush is a little floppy but was still a joy to use. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. I did get one weeper on my chin which was completely my fault. A splash of Dominica Grand Bay Rum and I am ready for a day of working on tax returns. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

    October 9 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Sheraton
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: PAA Oubliette
    Aftershave: PAA Oubliette

    On to a new razor this morning, and I decided to go with the Sheraton. I really like these older Gillette TTO razors, as they have just a bit more blade feel to me than the later ones. These OC TTO are great shavers, and this morning's shave was confirmation of that. Two passes and DFS. This is such a lovely scent and my wife got up just before I left giving me the SWMBOSA (©️ @Primotenore). It was a nice start to the day. I hope everyone has a great day!
