Pleasant 3 pass shave this morning. Sometimes this knot doesn’t want to give up its lather very easily and today was one of those days. Still a quality lather and the SR has knocked it out of the park the past few. Only my lower right neck kept this from perfection.
I’m travelling later this afternoon and will be gone at regional meetings for a few days. Only a couple hours away at least.
    Have a great day all!

    Very nice Mark!

Fatip....cool. Great report and shave Neal!

    Nice Patrick! Love the brush!

Interesting little experiment Rick with the MWF. Great setup, shave and report!

Very, very cool PIF Bill. Awesome report and shave as always!

Supremely cool image, great shave setup Jim. Love that LC and the Envy brush (great window reflections happening!).

    Cool shave Terry, great report!

There's a handful of wet shaving artisans from Texas. Found another to add to all the ones you've mentioned.....yesterday....thanks to Clint and Perry's posts....I bought a OneBlade, didn't know they were in Austin!

My resistance to blooming soaps is not just wummery but based on the same experiences as yours i have had in the past. As @Primotenore says, perhaps blooming soaps is better for the daily user.
Kents (and i think Bluebeards revenge??? pucks) are re-packaged MWF and can be had for less $$$. I doubt all the lanolin has leached out though? Soap is pretty robust in my experience. A wash under the tap and a rub with the best tea towel should get it back in order!

I try to take my pictures in natural light and that window gets pretty good light in the late afternoon.

Have you considered using the heirloom razors?
That Single Ring came from The Traveling Box (Round Three)? It might be the one I added. It does look like it (on the left) from this photo when I found a trio at an antique shop near by.
Single Ring 3.gif I kept the '20 in the middle, @Jrdelgado got the gold '06 on the right IIRC.

DSC_0415.JPG Nice irritation free two pass shave today. One weeper, but it closed right up. Maybe not the closest shave, but good enough for me.

    Have a nice day!
