    Ditto!

Also pulled the trigger with PAA for a couple soaps and AS/Colognes seen rolling through the 30DC from time to time. Previous purchase I bought into the $1 sample scam....so it was a viscous circle of 30DC enabling/PAA enabling....now I gotta have it self enabling assimilation.

I finally got to use the 1776 soap and tonic and it felt very good. The soap lathered up quick and very thick. It felt good using it to shave and it kept getting slicker after each pass. The smell of the soap was very faint. I could hardly smell it even when shaving. The tonic left my face feeling very smooth and I didn't feel like I needed anything else. Again, the smell is very nice but very faint and it didn't last very long at all. Overall, if you want a good soap and tonic to SHAVE with but not a strong smelling soap, this is it. I'll try the Hunting Lodge next shave. I guess TOBS as my first soap was a mistake. Now I'm afraid I'll try to compare all others to them?

A few B&M samples and a synthetic knot from Maggard's.

Like all scents so far. Heavy cherry on the cluster fig; not sure what it should smell like but I enjoy it. Can't describe the Angelique or Gothique but like both scents. Very complex.

Dumb question: how do I use these samples? I was expecting flat one like Stirling sends. Dig them out and press into a mug?

    Cheers.[IMG]

    jimjo1031 never bloomed myself

When ever I used samples, I just take some of it and lather it in a mug, or bowl if you prefer.
