6/8 Tanifuji 928 Silver Steel, one of an ivory and black horn gentleman’s pair that I did years ago. Soap was MdC rose lathered with a luxurious Simpsons 59, and a splash of Thayers Rose Petal toner topped off a 10-point shave. The Tanifuji 928 Silver Steel is a light, nimble razor very much in the vein of the Dovo Bismarck but with better steel. Mike, aka ‘Modine’ over at the old SRP said that these would take and hold the finest of edges from the finest of hones, and that’s been my experience.
Chinese Razor in the rotation. I had a very nice 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. One weeper. I was not paying attention, and this thing is wicked sharp. Razor- Gold Dollar 66. China. Brush- JR #262. Birdseye Maple/Ebony wood. WD Badger. Soap- RazoRock XXX Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice.

Jamie had me wanting some Swedish steel, so I got out my own Mk 33 and had a great shave with Dior Eau Sauvage cream, balm, and EdT. The brush was a little Rooney beehive in Super Badger.

I love the scales on that koraat. What is the material. I just love how there is the light spot with the black. Also the jayaruh brush is gorgeous. That is an amazing handle. I love his brushes and am so glad I own one. I also bought one for my nephew and one for my brother that's how much I love his handles.
That is an amazing razor. Someone put in a lot of passion and love of our military into that razor. Very good artistry on the scales.
Shave #36 on the Filly 14 Sub Cero edge longevity test, still rollin’ on. Soap was Dovo-Merkur lavender (aka RR King Louis Lavender) lathered with a Simpsons 57, and a splash of Agua Balsamica finished up.
