I will mostly be using different razors that i have not used before.. all the other stuff I have is used before.

 

That will be fine. I will be using the same brush each day. I found 7 unused razors and 6 unused cream/soap samples. With luck I will get another soap sample in by the end of the week. However, I will be using my normal brush, the same blade type (although it will be the first time I used it) and the same three A/S all week.

 

I've got kind of a mixed bag of new stuff as well. One new SC, a travel tech, and some stuff that's almost new to me. Heading out for a bit of antiquing here soon, so maybe I'll come back with something else. La Toja should arrive this week, so that will be new too. Looking forward to the week!

@Jim: I don't think the idea is to use everything new at once, for every shave.... just at least one thing... I've got one straight, and a few cream samples....I hope I can make it the whole week! I do also have one A/S sample enroute, hopefully it will show up tomorrow....

 

Afternoon all.. Just back from church and weekly grocery shopping.

I guess for new week, I'll get to try out that open comb 1912 that I got last week.

Got some D/E blades to try also. I have some new soaps to try, but I currently have started so many soaps and creams that I'm gonna use up some of those first.

For all the HYDer's out there, to do my part to help out for theme weeks, I was thinking of starting a poll thread that runs in conjunction to the current theme week.

The poll would be to choose the next theme, it would close at the end of the week, and give people 3 weeks to get ready for the next theme.

Watcha think? Sound ok?

If it sounds good, how about giving me some ideas for the themes, I would like to start with at least 10 choices if possible. In case of ties, the winner could be chosen by the Queen.

That fat handled Tech was still there. $1.25 and it was mine. All the plating, if there ever was any, is pretty much gone.

BUT... there was also a Model C View-Master viewer with a set of reels from the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Original price $40. Mine for $10.

 

I have my View Master, no pics of the queen tho.
