    October 10 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Sheraton
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: PAA Oubliette
    Aftershave: PAA Oubliette

    A repeat of yesterday's shave, as I was running late and didn't take time to dig up something new. Results about the same as yesterday, so that is good.

    On another note, I succumbed to the enabling of @PLAla and purchased a Oneblade Core last night. I am looking forward to trying it out. I hope everyone has a great day!

    That's impressive for early October! If that picture were taken in Alabama at any time of the year you would see total gridlock. The south cannot handle snow. Everything shuts down.

    MWF~~Simpson~~Friodur~~Ogallala
    After having used EDDEIO, I am now moving on to my straights.
    Up today is my Friodur 472.
    Prep included 25 laps on the plain linen; 15 laps on the CrOx linen; 15 laps on the FeOx Balsa;
    50 laps on the SRP leather and 10 laps on the Savin.
    Once again, I borrowed from Merkurman's playbook to lather the MWF.
    The Duke Silvertip loaded fully and delivered nicely to the skin.
    The MWF lather has not been a disappointment at all this month and continues to stay
    hydrated and formed tightly to the bottom of the ceramic vessel.
    No signs of cracking at all.
    Three passes with a very sharp razor. I did get a bit adventurous with an ATG pass on the right-side
    of my chin...:shocked002: No slices nor dices, but my skin clearly wasn't prepared for this move and told me so
    with some minor weepers and mild irritation. Post-shave, I grabbed my alum, which I haven't used in
    quite awhile, and received some moderate feedback in that area.
    The Thayer's continued the cool-down and there was no longer any signs of weepers.
    The Ogallala Bay Rum provided further comfort and some very welcome Bay Rum scent.    ​

    good morning gents..thursday shave..new bostonian lc/7 oclock permasharp green..nice dfs+ shave today in 2+ passes,although the blade was a little rough at first.my first time with this combo so will try again another day..i don't use the lc very much.MWF was great as well .the semogue built it up just right.fine santal absolut to finish.have a great day everyone..

    Yesterday's shave was worthy of a repeat!
    Perry has gotten me twice in the last couple of days.
    The crazy part is it was 82° yesterday.
