Awesome shave, Jim! How did the C-Mon brush and the B and M Clusterfig perform? How was the soap scent?

Well, I should say my shave this morning was a bit of a shocker. Why. Midway through, I knocked the WSP Rustic Mahogany soap right into a sink full of water. Gave the art of blooming a new approach! I won't be using the WSP for a while now, to let it dry out. Interestingly, the soap wasn't "flooded", it just looked like a normal blooming action(oh all right, forget the "normal"). Confirms for me what I've been talkinabout with this soap-it's tightly jammed into the puck. Solid shave, though. The Maggard brush loaded very well. I've decided to switch over to the Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods to follow the Mahogany soap...I'll have the Aqua Velva Musk on hand to use after canned cream shaves. Perhaps also with the Burma Shave soap.

Wonderful shave and post, Charlie! Sounds like you are going to have a mellow weekend. As for me, I have a choice of seeing a Christian concert or a Bible study fellowship this evening. Tomorrow, I will be meeting Christian friends at a Greek diner and then church later that evening. I am off on Monday, so that will be my catchup day. Did I mention I will be hitting the gym on those days? Lol! Anyway, have a blessed weekend and still lifting you and your wife in prayer for a good report.

    Thanks, Joe!

The C-MON is a joy to use and the B&M Excelsior base is definitely top tier in my opinion. I really enjoy the scent of Clusterfig. The combination of fig, apple and lemon is unlike anything else in my den.

Thanks Joe. You have a busy but fun-filled weekend in store! We plan to get outside today to take advantage of some nice (but cool) weather.

I sincerely appreciate the prayers. Thank you, my brother.

Paul, that's too bad! Now, if it would happen to Jon @BlueShaver, then I guess he would be:angry019: and temporarily leave the BlueShaver's team to join the ranks of the Blue Ming brigade. Lol!

Paul, your Saturday shave is in the books. No worries about the soap in the sink. We'll call this technique Boston Blooming! It's all good. Have a great weekend!

I thought Mr. Cawtuh was the Blue Ming Man. Or has he been teasing Jon all along???

Technically, Joe, this would be impossible for @BlueShaver. Even though he uses soap, I think he dry shaves. :lyrtuy5:

Thanks for the appraisals, Jim! I would get the badger C-mon if I wasn't a little disappointed with my lather-hog Semogue. I previously saw this soap online, but I really have too many soaps to indulge, but I wanted your opinion so that I can keep it in mind when I am ready to do so. Have a marvelous day, Jim!

The 30DC Shaving Blooper reel would be very entertaining and would feature most of us. ;)

True, unless he fills his sink with water to tip his brush and/or swish his razor clean.

Paul, Paul, Paul...we don't tease here. Shaving is serious bidness. Sources have confirmed that @Edison Carter always wears Blue Ming attire (and of course, his favorite slippers) for his morning shaves.
