    Beautiful picture, Jim!

My Oneblade got in yesterday as well, but it went to the mailbox store and I didn't make it there before they closed. I'll have to wait until Monday.

Great comeback and shave, Terry! Sorry about the rare disappointment of this Stirling soap.

Great looking shave Jim. I completely disregard the OneBlade instructions and use pressure all the time. The blade does float around. The OREN razor has a floating blade design as well. Kind of freaky the first time.

    Thanks Joe
The house dries out when it gets cold outside and I need to adjust the water.
I didn't take head of all the warnings.

    Edit.........
Not worried about the Stirling, got three more to try out.

That razor is a pretty thing, if kept clean and shined up.

It will probably be gone by lunch, nothing really, but I like a more comfortable shave.

    October 13 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette '37 Aristocrat
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: PAA Starcraft
    Lather: PAA Atomic Pumpkin
    Aftershave: PAA Atomic Pumpkin

We got a cold front in Friday, and for the first time it feels like fall here. So, it was definitely a good morning for some Atomic Pumpkin. I also got the Aristocrat OC out this morning and was rewarded with a two pass BBS. This scent, to which my daughter immediately said, "You smell like fall," finished up the great shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

    A&E Dirty Ginger
    Shave Soap and Aftershave

A damp rainy cool morning here in Atlanta. It was nice to walk the dog and not be dripping with sweat. Decided to go with Dirty Ginger again this morning. There is something in the soap that leaves a tingly feeling on my face for the 2nd and 3rd passes. The reaction is not bad enough to stop using the soap but it does serve to move things along. The scent of the soap is like a ginger rum drink not at all a bay rum take off. As usual the A&E soap is joy to use. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby. I paid more attention to my neck on each passes. The matching aftershave splash left me smelling great. It also leaves my face feeling fantastic. This is my first A&E aftershave but it will not be last. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

    Good morning, guys!
    Straight Razor Shave #107
    Thiers-Issard Spartacus 6/8 rd pt
    Rockwell Synthetic
    Stirling BoS SS and AS
    Nivea ASB
Rockwell brush and Stirling soap performed at their usual best. Did not bloom and continued the pasty method of lathering. 2.5 passes and more detailed and intense touchup gave me a BBS shave. There wasn't any bloodletting and the shave was irritation free. Although I bought this razor shave ready and it is only the second time that I have used the TI, I will either Crox it or lap it on the films the next time I use this razor. I took my time enjoying the shave so I can't complain with the results. Finished with the matching AS and then Nivea ASB. Have a fantastic Sunday guys! 20191013_084508.jpg 20191013_084508.jpg
