    Great shaves everyone!

I did the usual two passes, with decent results. I nicked myself once, but it stopped bleeding by itself before the cold water rinse. Aqua Velva didn't burn much.
The shave was close enough for sure.

    Have a nice day!

    MWF~~Simpson~~Boker~~Aramis
Still committed to month of the MWF.
Today's accompanying gear was the Simpson Milk Churn and the Boker Red-Injun.
Pretty sharp edge, albeit a tad rough. I don't usually feel like the blade is scraping, but I did today.
The MC picked up a goodly amount of soap and the lather was very thick and rich. With the addition of
enough H2O, I did achieve some nice shine.
    Slickness is above average.
Once again, I used three fingers on the blade itself to get the ATG on the right side of my chin.
    No issues with blood.
3 passes and I was darn close to a complete BBS.
Finished the shave with some Thayer's and Nivea balm.
The Aramis Tobacco Reserve is a marvelous product. One of my favorites.

Great looking shave Joseph. The Milk Churn looks very cool. You have an amazing collection of Simpson brushes.

    Soap: Stirling Executive Man

Found the razor in an antique store yesterday. Polished it on my wheel to a wonderful shine and disinfected per the norm. The edge passed the hanging hair test with flying colors. This is my 3rd vintage blade found in the wild and the 1st I thought was shave ready. Well, sharp is not always smooth. This blade will be blunted and honed to a fresh edge before I use it again. That's what I did with my other 2 and they perform wonderfully.

Close 3 pass shave, but it just wasn't comfortable and I had a couple nicks in strange places. The edge must have a burr or dull spot.

I am sure more than one of you is saying, "yeah, always put a fresh edge on second hand razors no matter how sharp they seem." Lesson learned.

Thank you , Clint. A lot of brushes have come and gone from my den. Some I regret having let go, but I have settled on Simpson as my "brush of choice". There are a few I am still searching for, but I am very satisfied with the current line-up.

Thanks, Joseph! I agree and that's why I continue adding water to my face until I get the lather that I want. The other drawback is that I sometimes don't have enough soap for subsequent passes and I have to reload, but I rather have that then a bloody mess on my face. Lol!

Wonderful shave, Joseph! It's great to tweak your technique instead of just shaving in the same manner. Sometimes, I am surprised when I try something different during my straight shaves. For instance, I move my thumb from the tang to the spine when I go across the grain and against the grain on the chin and moustache area. I find that I have better control doing it that way. It just proves that you can still learn something new to straight shaving regardless of how many shaves you have previously done.

Nice shave, Evan! The good thing is you didn't holler while you cut yourself! Actuall, you did Holler! Lol!
