hey, did you ever notice the thick, comfortable padding on the walls?
I hadn't seen that before....I guess it's for acoustical suppression, with all the typing going on....it's amazing how much typing gets done with these restrain....HEY!!!!!

 

Well, that's quite a piece of writin' - not... I suppose we could look at it as a right of initiation. If a noob can stand that crap, they'll do okay. But still...

 

just be thankful that they let us shave. and you deserve some serious cool point penalties for that carpenters clip as well as a good whipping with a wet noodle.

 

I remember in high school we were doing a John Williams compilation for spring concert, and the low brass section was absolutely butchering the Jaws section (of course you can understand it infuriated me twice over....), and the band director's quote, which I have taken the liberty of using many times since, was:

"My grandmother is scarier than that! That was about as menacing as a wet noodle!"

I tried to keep from laughing....he was mad, so I "accidentally" dropped my mallet and hid behind the timpani....

I ain't movin'.

My lawn is too big and hilly to get done in a single day when I'm having a *good* day. This is not a good day, relatively speaking. Not only not yet in mowing shape, but also the first season post-heart attack (last August).

Add to that gobs and gobs of rain, leaving very few windows to get *any* mowing done. Do one patch, then it might be another week before the weather allows more work. Rinse, repeat.
