    Yeah i couldn't do it, even as a joke. I get a terrible headache from some scents, including Axe.

    Of course there is always the option to buy wunderbaums (i think they are sold with a different name in US, the tree shaped air freshner for cars) and fill your pockets with them.

    After i finish my focus, i might have to do a shave or two before november with my open comb razor. It's just a Merkur, but it's a decent mild razor. Less issues with the alignment than with my 34c. A bit weird feeling though, as i'm so used to closed comb.

    Hega is probably my only AS splash which isn't an old guy scent. Atleast on that side of the pond. But the scent doesn't last long and the skincare is excellent, both good things IMO.
    Only if it had some menthol in it..
    I might have to get the Proraso green splash.

    Tuesday OCtober 15

    I used one of my favorite razors, a Leresche #54. I particularly like the long open combs on this razor and using this when I've got a week or more of beard growth. But today I'm using this after shaving the day before and the shave was smooooooth. I also started a new blade today, a Gillette Platinum (Swede).

    Bowl/Scuttle - GP12
    Soap - Caties Bubbles Barnegat Bay (I am from NJ)
    Brush - Alpha Outlaw Fanchurian
    Blade - Gillette Platinum (1)
    Razor - Leresche #54 (France)
    Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods

    I did a two pass shave today; pass 1 WTG and was DFS+, pass 2 XTG was easy BBS. This is a very good and smooth shaving razor and, as noted above, one of my favorites. The Barnegat Bay soap has a nice scent and lathered and lubricated well. I had no nicks or anything close to a weeper - the alum was very quiet. I'm not sure whether the Whiskey Woods compliments the scent of the Barnegat Bay soap or not but I don't really care, I really like the Whiskey Woods.

    Overall, a great shave. Tomorrow I'm deviating from my OC focus this month for my birthday shave with my F4 Fatboy. Then I'll be back with a few more French and English razors that will be the razors for my next few shaves this week.

    Thank you again, brother! I'll do my best with it. Oddly enough, I finished a Tabac shave just before reading this.

    I've managed to bring modern Williams soap into the fold. I'm hoping for the same with MWF. I do enjoy a challenge.

    I used the same new long comb on the mr5 maggard handle, and the alpha T-400. My only change was Soap Commander Love and matching aftershave balm. It was a winner yesterday and Jay as good today.
    Hope y'all did as well, or better.

    I've found a few AS/Balms that cause a cheek burn (only). More often than not it is a balm/cream (but not a shaving soap). A couple I've decided to keep, I just remember not put on my cheeks. A couple that were iffy to my nose in the scent department...PIF'd, sold, put in the TSD traveling box.
