That is great news on your wife. Good work in getting her in for treatment ASAP. I am praying for a full recovery. Take care Evan.
Thanks Clint...glad to be back. We are doing a lot better...getting some much needed rest. The last four months have been tough and busy. Looking forward to the base plates and I cannot wait till they get in. I would have probably ordered an aluminum Karve but they were sold out. I had the ATT top cap and thought I would give ATT a try. They have some nice looking stuff and I had to restrain myself. Take care friend.
Thank you Blair. Mocha's visit went well. She continues to drop weight with her loss of appetite. She weighted in at 45 lbs today down from 49 in June so that was not good. She is 13 years old now which is very old for a Belgian Malinois. Our goal is just to keep her comfortable and let her enjoy the golden years.
Good to hear Danny. I am sure you'll like the ATT razors. Plus it will be a change from the Karve since you already have that one.
The Karve has been my go to razor for the last three weeks. It went to Pennsylvania with me and for some reason I just keep picking it up. I have been shaving my brother with it and he went to PA with us as well and the end of last month. He is 59 years old and is mentally challenged. He lived with mom and dad and was a big help to them. He likes the Karve as well and likes the aftershave splashes. He also likes to pick out a shaving soap every now and then. He said the Stirling "um...smells good"! We are going to be able to keep him in moms and dads house with a few adustments but he is doing good. He does like the DE shaves!
Thanks Clint! I can only imagine your software collection....seen lots of impressive combinations....think you've gotten sort of to the 1 out, 1 in stage. I'm close . Understand that game plan. The biggest thing I like about PAA is the strong scent forward aromas, both for Soaps and AS/Colognes. I don't have a lot of artisan soaps to compare to, but lather/slick performance while shaving is very similar to Stirling, Castle Forbes, Wholly Kaw, SV (I only have a 4.3 formulation). But, PAA has the extra credit score for the face feel hours after the shave and lingering aroma performance, across the brand. In the handful of interviews I've seen, Doug almost has a chemist/brewer mindset with his approach to these two qualities.
That is great news on your brother being able to stay in your parent's house. It should make things easier on him and on you as well. I know you have your hands full so remember to take care of Danny as well.
The link to my den in the signature below is pretty accurate. I am happy with my software collection. I have several soaps and creams that are more than half finished. I am trying to stick to 1 in and 1 out but I have not been as successful this year. So far my wife has bought be 5 soaps or creams as gifts. I will try some of the PAA Bay Rum soaps and aftershaves. I am really interested in some of his solid colognes.
thank you Clint.i like the fact that these shells are tapered almost 2mm from top to bottom and not straight.will look sharp on a brit fb tech head..imo
