The razor is a heavy son of a gun too. With the OC plate I have to remember to hold it away from my face. Letting the weight of the razor do the work is too much pressure with this one.

the blade clamping curvature and spacing on the plate looks similar but no slot like the lc or new deluxe..the cap is definitely different..

I thought for sure you would like the OC baseplate over the SB. With the SB baseplate its smooth shaver to be sure.

i have a brush or 2 like that.great for pics but unfortunately not much else..a lot of my favorites are quite mundane looking..

Glad to hear you like the brush, Blair. Which Omega # knot did you put in there, and how does it fit? I ask as that is a standard 1 1/8in drill bit I used in them.

Thanks, Clint. Using a super thin CA glue makes sure the handle isn’t gummied up and still fits snugly together.
