Yes, it is! Easy day at the high school. Proctored the PSAT exam and had a few other classes. One more class and I am done.

thank you Jason..i would say "mos def "to quote Joseph.i prefer nickel/silver/rhodium plating over gold, the brit made factor and in between a short comb and long comb tooth wise.fantastically smooth shave and very efficient...imo..the new sc is a close second but would prefer a nickel one..just aesthetics..definitely my most used daily drivers these days..the bigger guns ie aristocrats/ttos get used more on weekends and special shaves.i use the techs alot to dial in technique when it starts to get sloppy..when riding the sweet spot on the cap they all feel similar..hence my obsession with them all..:)..

The 30DC is my shaving mentors...I'm just reporting as I learn and work into this new hobby. :)

This video shows a good number of products that I have seen cross the 30DC over the past few months, so hopefully it's useful to a few here. It's a compilation using the Blackland Blackbird, Frank Shaving badger brush, Captains Choice bowl & Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements CK6 John Frum. 18 minute video...it's a full 3 pass shave. The meat of the video starts roughly 6 minutes in. I may be overloading my brush both with SS and water, but my lathers are thicker/more volume than what is shown, I can never see skin through the lather. FWIW, Ken does comment early on he needs to add water.

Thanks! Except that i just noticed that the blade gap is larger on the one side. Alignment is nice and even though. So something might be bent? Still, i'm going to use it, good reminder to ride the cap.

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner last Saturday. Ninety percent of the family made it. that's pretty good these days. Your family is growing Andrew.

mine as well.i am lucky as well.at 52 i am suffering the mental anguish of what happens if it changed..stayed in my car profession as a service writer after mechanic but it's not very financially lucrative as others..no real safety net compared to others, and although i am helping others the owners get the bigger financial rewards..while i have some health left and am grateful for what i have i struggle with this constantly. the sale of previous hobby components fund the present ones for the most part so no issues there, but the bigger picture..sorry for dropping a bomb gents..not trying to be debbie downer..
