Thank you everyone ! Almost 400 posts behind and only an hours sleep last night. My truck is still down for repairs and waiting on parts in the morning. Worked on it all day and probably waste half the day tomorrow all for a $17 part that I think i can eliminate anyway but i aint no automotive engineer. Will get caught up when the truck is back on the road .

 

Good luck getting the truck fixed. Now go get some sleep!

Same here. I've reduced my sugar content to quite a bit less than saturation these days. Still like my Carnation creamer. I did pick up a sack of Bustelo Supreme. Wasn't sure I was ready for the total switch over, so I blended half 'n half with my Community Dark Roast. Made a fine cup, and the grand kids all liked it. The 4 year old asked for another cup around supper time, but I vetoed that.

 

The Cartel did, in fact, receive your request for a secretary to be assigned to you. We are awaiting the follow up form specifying the exact need, skills required, and whether or not something other than a redhead would suffice. The office of procurement for secretaries is only working on a six month backup at this point, mostly because we shortened their vodka ration to speed things up.

There will be no use of sharp instruments at Cartel HQ tonight. I'm not sure what kind of potion they brewed to knock me out for 15 minutes today but it was a good one. I've requested the formula so I can keep some on hand should I ever need my butt knocked out for an entire day again. Seriously, I usually come out of these within a few hours and ready to go. I could barely cut my steak tonight and have just been enjoying the good feelings and constant naps. Good stuff.

Everything is fine - no ulcers, cancer, or any other goombahs hiding out inside me. Another new med to control some acid, other than that I'm good to go for mass BBQ consumption as always. Have a great night!!

 

I skipped the disco thing. Rock n roll and Blues.

Some how I never got into Country music. Took me a while to appreciate Southern Rock. In my teens I thought Lynyrd Skynyrd was a country band.

 

You sorted it out. We forgive you.

 

Well still girly coffee but.... using the Bustelo as a mixer really does a great job with the Community. A 4 y/o hyped on coffee is kinda like a live grenade I woukd think.

My professional radio career in my earlier life spanned both disco and country. I started at a station that switched to Album Rock in the late 70's and was part of the movement to kill disco. Mission accomplished. A few years later a country station hired me in spite of my understanding of country music being limited to "Willie and Waylon sing country". I ended up being promoted to program director there.

 

i am a 70s hard rock guy..zeppelin/stones/who/bon scott era ac-dc/aerosmith before sobriety/sabbath/priest ..and a few others..r &r/blues is awesome..some dave brubeck and classical as well.
not country..johnny cash is awesome..
