    Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum.

    Ten second load of the Reserve base provided plenty of slick goodness!

    Good Thursday morning to everyone!
    Gota good nap, great shave, and a good hot cup of coffee. Now to the nuts and bolts of it all. Number 2 on the scent hit parade is Barbershop, Stirling fits the bill very nicely.
    Received my 200 Feather professional pro blades in the mail along with my 200 Feather DE blades. Not worried to much about running out till maybe spring.
    Installed a Pro blade in my Razorock Blackhawk V2 and went to work. Man oh man, the Blackhawk V2 does a great job paired with these blades. The RR web site warns against using these blades, sure am glad I didn't pay any attention to that!
    The Razorock Blackhawk V1 and V2 paired with these blades are my number one SE shaver in my den, bar none.
    2 passes on the face, 2 passes on the old gord, oh man, oh man!
    No nicks, scraping, burn or any of that nasty stuff, just shaving joy.

    Great news Neal!

    Maybe those bats would have been more suited for brush and razor handles.
    Looks fine to me Jason. As a fellow turner , sometimes you never know what you may uncover with the next cut . What the craftsman sees as a flaw in his work others may see it as character. Im famous for critiquing my own work also.

    Very nice report Terry!. I'm about 400 behind also. Maybe we could apply to the Cartel for secretaries as I see others have made similar requests... @wchnu . The backlog and beaurocrisy to get one is a minor detail when you weigh out the benefits , and I heard if you use Russian blades you could get shortlisted and maybe only wait 9 years instead of 10-14.

    Stirling Glastonbury AS and SS
    Well, I was called to the HS this morning so I decided to use my shavette to save time. I didn't go crazy with the lather so that it was just covering my face, but it was still slick for me to shave. 2.5 passes gave me a BBS shave without any blood or irritation.     Good morning gents, nice shaves!
    DSC_04982.jpg It was hard to resist using the gillette, but yeah, i stuck with the Merkur. No nicks, no weepers, no irritation, clubman gave a very enjoyable nice mild burn. And i had coffee. Which looks weird in the photo, but whatever.
    This was shave 29/30, only tomorrow left..
