    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - PS/SC/Star Jelly ASB/AS - Pineapple Bay Rum

    The Feather AC DX was screaming to be used this morning...so loaded up a fresh Feather Pro blade, lathered up a new (to me) PAA fragrance, and went to work. This version of PAA's Bay Rum is a little sweeter than the Atomic, but still very forward in aroma. If you've ever had Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum, it's a near match. This version of PAA's SC is before the CK6 base release, and there is a small difference in face feel during the shave..it's not quite as slick, has a little cleaner feel in between passes (while the CK6 feel between passes is very hydrated/silky). Nice smooth 3 pass DFS+ shave, with one set down weeper on the upper lip. No worries at all, a dab of PAA's mentholated Star Jelly ASB, and problem dismissed. Followed up with the matching AS/Cologne and I'm ready for a Thursday.

    Switched up to a NEW LC this morning. It’s well documented that this is an absolute favourite of mine. Left whatever blade was already loaded in it.
    The soap sample came as a gift from the vendor who I bought a couple Zenith boars from on the ‘bay. Located in the same state as the soap co, fwiw.
    Got a very nice lather with a pleasant scent and everything worked as it should. Fantastic shave.
