  18. Razor: Christopher Bradley Karve OC D Plate
    Blade: Voskhod (3)
    Brush: Oscar 11 w/ Omega 10049 Boar
    Soap: Route 66 Casablanca
    Aftershave: Myrsol Blue
    Bowl: Timeless Blue

Although it is pouring rain and the sky is dark and gloomy it was saved by an outstanding shave. I took the picture a few days ago when the weather was good. IMO this gear is amazing. Not hard to get a great lather and shave. The Karve razor is simply one of the best. The Oscar 11 with the Omega 10049 Boar whips up a great lather in the Timeless Blue shave bowl. Finishing with Myrsol Blue was outstanding as always. Saved my day with a near BBS.

    Fine Platinum

10 years ago today my wife and I said "I do", boy how time flies.

I wasn't able to shave last night like I had planned so I shaved this morning. Logan was up early too so I had help "stirring my soap"(you'll see those pictures tomorrow). I got this handle is from Jason least week and it is a beautiful infusion of blue resin and wood (Maple, I think). I installed a rather short lofted Omega 24mm boar knot in it and used it for the first time this morning. This little knot is stiff and scrubby. It will be interesting to see how it breaks in. I didn't need the Blue Ming's help this morning as this brush really dug in to the hard puck of Tabac with ease. The result was a bowl full of shiny, thick, super goop type lather. The MonoBilt loaded with the Feather effortlessly brought home the baby once again. To combat the old man smell if Tabac I splashed on a generous amount of Fine Platinum AS. Have a great day my friends!
