    Thank you, Clint!
Thanks, Jim! I'll probably try a few different blades in the 34c to see if it makes any difference at all, and then i'll start using my Gillettes. I'll probably do a shave with an open comb razor too, before november. And then i'll do the no variety november. Not 100% sure about the gear i'm going to use, yet. But i will be posting here anyways.

Hi Anthony, You have too line up the grooves of the noncutting side of the blade on the posts, then keep pressure on the blade to keep it from moving off the posts. Close the cover to lock in place.

Happy Friday everyone. "The City" has a very sweet almost chocolate smell off of the puck. While lathering the more earthy herbal sandalwood notes appear. I was unsure of the scent in the beginning but with more use, I am beginning to really enjoy the scent. There is no issue at all with the performance of the soap. I find it easy to lather, slick and fantastic post shave feel. I changed up the hardware a little. I replaced the standard top plate with the one from the Nodachi. This did not change the blade gap but did increase blade exposure and blade feel. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. I opened up the nick from yesterday and just skipped buffing my lower right neck. I will keep playing with the top plates to determine if I have a favorite. A splash of Fine Santal Absolut and I am ready for what I hope will be an easy commute.

Lazy morning here. We've had breakfast and half I'm way through my pot of coffee. It's after 6am and I haven't shaved and showered yet. Kinda nice.

Another thing about this one is that it was the A.S. I called "Niagra Falls" because it POURED out. I was lucky to have pulled up the bottle in time or it all would have been gone. That is a challenge for Sunday-going very easy with the administering of it.

Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements PS - Tube 2.0
Saponificio Varesino SS v4.3 - Felce Aromatica
Heritage Collection Ever Ready 200 - 2 band badger
    OneBlade Hybrid
    Feather FHS
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements ASB - Star Jelly unscented
    Hugo Boss - Orange EdT

3 pass DFS+. Up today was Saponificio Varesino v4.3 FA soap with the Heritage Collection Ever Ready badger. Excellence from both, supremely slick and full lather, with a pleasant but slightly subdued Fougère aroma. I'm also all about residual slickness between swipes, and SV 4.3 has that covered handily. New razor, new blade from OneBlade's 14 day trial received yesterday. The head glide of the Hybrid OneBlade is much nicer than the Core (which feels plasticky, like one a 4-5 blade cartridge thingy). The Hybrid is a very easy shaver, quite maneuverable, requires a little pressure (better applied towards the top of the head). Mindlessly whipped the Hybrid all around for a WTG/XTG and ATG 3 passer. Could have called this shave at the second pass, it was that nice. But....wanted to see how the ATG pass would turn out. ATG....surprisingly efficient, getting me nearly a BBS shave very little blade feel, still no nicks or irritation at all. Finished up with the PAA Star Jelly, and the Boss Orange EdT- a citrusy sweet & pleasant fragrance, but fades quickly.

Over the next week of shaves I'm comparing several modern SE shavers....looking for a travel razor that's easy/fun to use, but still a DFS+/BBS capable shaver (in 2 passes). No carts or electric for travel. Also not wanting to take any of my vintage razors, nor my straights/kamis just yet. The OneBlade Hybrid could easily fit this role, but still want to try a couple others. The Supply Co Single Edge USPS should deliver today, and the Occam's Razor O.R.E.N. Enhanced Nano should arrive tomorrow. More to come!

I'm traveling later this afternoon for a working weekend south of Houston. Will be following along...little time for posting Sat/Sun shaves.

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!
