    Still rolling with the NEW LC. Pulled out the Zenith again today. I’ve been using this Zenith as well as my two Omega Pros frequently this month as a bit of a comparison. I’ll have a more fulsome write up on it at the end of the month.
    3 nice passes this morning with just enough lather. Love this Floid Blue scent.

    The Hybrid is the OneBlade I'm most interested in as of now. Sounds like a great shave.

    And now.....it's time once again for.....the FooRIDAY FILES:

    -I can safely predict that I'll have my current soap collection around for 3 more winters(I say "more" as most have been around for a couple as it is, whereas I'm just beginning with the others. Brushes and aftershave/cologne(dupes) will be my main purchases during the 3. Maybe a coffee mug(if it's reasonably priced). Bar soaps as well.(for hand-washing). But shave soaps? Naah, I'm good. Having said this, the Bill Neumann&Co. is still on my mind-will just be pushed back a year or two. (Or three).

    -I've been expressing my frustration at not being able to recall with 100% accuracy my Dad's shave strategies, other than his electric razor shaves. My sister and my Uncle(his brother)are the only ones left who might be able to remember anything. But I bring this up because I shaved this morning with the Clubman Shave Cream can again, and I well remember when I first became "One" with it-I was maybe aroiund 16, 17. I let my Dad try it one morning and he really liked it :). We could have gone on TV and it would have been the opposite of that famous Aqua Velva ad where the man uses it and flips it to his son.

    Very nice, Patrick. Thanks for the link to The Copper Hat. I feel guilty sometimes that I haven’t supported local artisans enough. Never did buy any Soapy Bathman before he folded, haven’t tried Copper Hat (haven’t been to Victoria in years either, though). Most of the truly local area artisan/ craft fair stuff I bouyor was gifted has been crap. Although, there is now an artisan here in town (Highland Spring) whose stuff has just been picked up by West Coast Shaving of all places. Might give them a try.

    MWF on MWF OCtober

    Good morning!

    A failed experiment with the Fat. Fifteen second load, thin dissipating lather. I rushed through pass one. Weeper on my neck. What appeared to be a fine lather when I started had all but dissapeared in my bowl leaving a small puddle of water at the bottom. Reloading was necessary. Ended with an ok lather, not my best, not my worst. Three passes for near BBS. Some extra warmth from the alum on my neck.
