While spending some time just cruising the 'net, I came upon https://globalshave.club. There are a lot of nice looking razors, etc but I've never heard of them.

Anyone have any insights/knowledge of the this site?

Inquiring minds want to know and thanks in advance

I think i have one of those listed as an r41 replica. 20191019_151056_resized.jpg
It's milder than my r41, and it's lighter than i thought.
It boasted a micro knurling, but it feels pretty slick when wet.
I got it and a EJ calvin at the same time, i prefer the Calvin

The Global Shave Club has some interesting information I haven't seen elsewhere on their website about how the shaving tools we use are made. But there are two reasons I won't buy his stuff. First, he wants you to check the box agreeing to his policies, as usual, but he doesn't post those policies to check out first. I never read that legalese anyway; I scan it. But I won't sign a blank contract. Second, I saw a video on Kevy Shaves where Kevy demonstrated a new razor GSC sent him, and some of the chrome plating peeled right off. Wet-shaving is getting popular and many of us are becoming rabid razor-collectors. And as with every new trend, there are those who would take advantage of it, which is fine if they do it with integrity. So caveat emptor friends.

I read all the buyer beware about Global Shave Club. I debated on ordering. I ordered a Jave Espresso. It is supposed to be a Weishi with .007 more blade gap. It took a week to get the razor. I have measured my Techs, .022. That is what I've seen Weishi's should be. I also measure my '54 flare super speed, .026. The Java came in at .028, almost the amount it should be. It also weighs a few grams more than my flare, few less than slim. I put in a Gillette silver blue. Three pass shave, my always needs touch up spot. It was a DFS, no weepers, no irritation. The alum block produced no sting at all! I think this will be one of my, "keeper" razors. The doors open together, the blade falls into place. I saw a review of the red tip GSC, the blade had to be pushed down. I would order from them again.
