When I first used a Fine soap, Joe, I wasn’t all that impressed with the performance. I kept using it because the scent was awesome (strong enough as well) and got the lather really dialed in. I find it at least Stirling’s equal now.

Thanks, Danny! I agree with you on this soap. Even though I didn't get the perfect soap/water ratio, it performed well. I was wondering if their scents are more evident in their splashes.

Thanks Joe.....it will get there. The H2 plate is one that attention must be paid to but it delivers a very nice shave.

With any of these soaps, YMMV. One of the things we neglect to mention is that body chemistry plays an important part in how the soap performs. I prefer stronger scented soaps, but slickness and cushion are more important to me. Now, if Fine's splashes are more apparent than the soap, then I would be more inclined to purchase this brand.

Oh, I have no doubt. Love the scent of the soap. FWIW, I do m-bomb and glycerin SV Splashes though...
