that's a long post,thank you Patrick..any good strong scented canadian soaps.splashes you would recommend.i have tried elvado,meh,first canadian,soap granules..
Can’t help you all that much, Gary. I haven’t had the issues with First Canadian that you and others have had. Love the Maximo Gomez scent. I haven’t tried Henri et Victoria or Tallow and Steel to be honest. H et V now makes a triple milled soap, I’ve been thinking of trying it. As for aftershaves, I think Maol Grooming makes a fantastic splash, fwiw. One of the best, but not a ton of scents.
In general, Gary, I think that Stonefield Shaving probably carries the most Canadian software, with a fair number of brands I have not tried. I think they even have some Soapy Bathman stuff still.
OCtober STTS MWF & OC Stirling mentholated PSS Mitchell's Wool Fat SS Omega 98 Pro boar brush Suribachi bowl, cool water Yaqi DOC, Maggard #18 handle Gillette Silver Blue blade Alum, Shulton Leather AS & cologne Another long day that started too early & finished late. Two out of three grand kids with a virus or three. Nothing life threatening, but not what I had planned for the day. Still made time this evening for a Spicy Sunday. A bit of cool PSS via Stirling mentholated, topped with that lather a boar brush makes with MWF. The Chinese dupe of The Grand Shave King double open comb gives good shave. Operating with the ease of a mild razor for the lack of errors. Giving much blade feel and great reduction. Three passes and a little lower neck touch up for a DFS or better. Alum didn't say much, but the vintage Shulton juice sure smells good. Another day be here shortly so I can get further behind in stuff I couldn't get done today. Good Shaves Y'all!
Well it's Monday! Hello and good morning to everyone! Razorock V1 with a Feather Professional Super blade (new of course) Enrico brush PAA software That's nice! Really nice! All Enjoy tp
Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf Gem Stainless PTFE Semogue BC Texugo CTAPT SC Superior 70 Bay Rum I used a fresh blade this morning for my first shave since Thursday(I think). One pass would have been enough, but went with two and was rewarded with a nice comfortable, irritation free shave. Enjoy your day.
Thanks Joseph. I find using a blade twice is, well, not good. Although theses blades seem to hold up better than any I've had, I don't want to chance it. One and done, I have 206 of them so Im good till spring if I only use these. The way it shaves, real tempting to do just that. tp
