My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Fine Snake Bite Shave Soap face lathered well with the TOST LE Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER 3D razor with a Gem CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

I’m frozen solid!

I suppose I "slid in safely in the backdoor" with my shave on this Menthol Monday. I was using an aftershave from a company in Texas, thus was very surprised to read just this morning (after the shave)that there is some menthol in the aftershave. The A.S. is called Weekend Rodeo, thus you can visualize an activity in a very warm environment. It's a rather mild Menthol, not what you would get from Aqua Velva, not even Mennen Skin-Bracer. But the M word is in the ingredients Good for me!!

Not as frigid a setup as I would normally select for a Menthol Monday shave but still pretty damned cold. The Yuka Lyptik soap has such great lather, the scent really pleases me - it’s definitely like those Halls eucalyptus lozenges, and the menthol sensation starts off slowly, but then it starts hitting you. The Prep and the Aqua Velva felt so soothing as well as chilly. Three passes resulted in a brilliant BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!
