    Great shave today with my new/old silver plated Gillette New Standard Long comb. Great razor! Delivered a BBS face and dome shave.

    I'm still hanging in there and shaving with The Fat. Used the G-Bar this morning.

    Placed an order today with PAA for the Cube 2.0 and some aftershave samples: Atmotic, Astra Planeta, Cavendish, Boomtown Bay Rum, Tombstone, and maybe one more. Looking for a tobacco scent to replace my beloved Jeeves Tobacco Bay Leaf since it's almost gone. My Stirling pre-shave soap is almost gone and I wanted to try the Cube, so it was time for a little order.

    Great shaves, everyone. Hopefully I'll be back more full time this week.

    While traveling for the weekend, USPS delivered this J3Customs Kamisori. Derek (J3Customs owner) and I worked through rough drawings back in August, and this is the incredible result of his labor. A slightly smiling, highly polished huge blade that is quite a hefty hunk of steel. Almost felt like I was learning to straight razor shave all over again, as this Dragon Slayer (@Terry's description) touches down so much sooner than all the muscle memory I've learned. 3 passes to a DFS, all with extremely thoughtful placement and angle approach. No nicks, cuts or irritation. Used a familiar setup, the Heritage Collection C-MON 77-4 with Zenith knot, and PAA PS/SC/AS. Slickest lather and face feel for all stages of the shave today. John Frum aroma a slightly musky/peppery scent, lasts 10-12 hours for me.
