    Thanks Blair, you would think but I contacted ATT and Matt said that he would replace it if the next batch was darker. If not I told him I would keep it. It would be nice if they matched closer but it is no deal breaker. I like the razor that much....she is light, 40 grams I think.

    Great looking razor and brush, really cool shave Ken!

    It's worth a try to lightly polish. I've had some good luck with Simichrome metal polish on a couple razors I thought were pretty rough. All but one came out pretty decent for user grade shavers.

    Excellent shave, Keith! It is always best to change razors during a shave when they can give an uncomfortable shave.

    I do, Paul. I started open blade shaving 1 year ago and I am amazed how well I took to it. I sound like a broken record, but straight shaving is the most fun and pleasurable shave I can get. I came with the right attitude that I was not going to fear straight shaving and it has served me well. Although, I consider myself a short-timer, I am at the point where I really don't have to think about the angles, pressure, and strategies to get great shaves.
