Nice shave, Danny! Sometimes, my weepers appear because my blade angle and pressure is just plain off. I know you will figure it out with that razor.
OCtober 22nd Cooper MonoBilt Simpsons CH2 Synthetic First Canadian Maximo Gomez Thayers JOHS Tobacco Bay Leaf Pulled out the MonoBilt today. Hail to the King. Pressed the soap back into the middle of the bottom to help facilitate loading with the ‘Soap Destroyer’ and I’d guess somewhere around 5-6 shaves left. A little more than on my other puck I’m trying to finish. A very nice 3 pass shave that has left me quite smooth without chasing. A little neck irritation, but overall a very nice shave. Finished with one of my faves, this apparently discontinued splash. Have a great day all!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Like you straight razor shaving is the most fun shave for me.
I should clarify...growing older is ok, growing up...not for Primo. (Don't get Dr. Mrs. Primo started)
Really. Except for the knurling-pattern, what do you like better about the Atlas? Or, maybe it's the pattern...do tell.

I think it is probably angle. I am right handed and my problem area has always been on the right area of neck. I have never had problems on the left side. It has to be when I shave my left side first and transition to the right. Maybe I need to start on the right side and go to the left.
Joseph it seems to be a more comfortable knurling but very grippy if that makes sense. The handle is slightly shorter but I am fine with the length of either handle. The Atlas just has a nice tactical feel that I like better. Quality and performance they are on par with each other.
