Wonderful photo and shave report Blair. I am a huge fan of AC type razors. Since 2015 I would estimate having between 400 and 500 shaves with AC razors. The OREN is one of the best I have tried. It reminds me of a Cobra Classic and a OneBlade lovechild. The biggest drawback to AC razors is the width of the blade. For the area under my nose, the first pass is North to South. I put the center of the blade in the center and take care of that area. Then I rock the blade to the left leaving the right side in the air and make that stroke. For the right side to the opposite. All other passes are done side to side. Second pass is from the outside to the center. Third pass is from the center out. I use this pattern with the GEM and Injector razor as well.

I find the Supply Co a razor that just works different. It is not the same shaving angle as other injectors or SE razors and required me to adapt. I now find it as efficient when loaded with Schick Proline blades as my Cobra Classic

Sounds fantastic, Terry! You didn't have this years ago, because you didn't use that great hardware and software...
The Tech is just a simple, great little shaver for sure, Daniel. FYI, I don't know if you know this or not, but there is an earlier version with a slightly different baseplate. The holes in those baseplates are slightly triangled.
A very nice Tobacco Tuesday indeed, Jim!
Great minds again on the splash today, Perry! I look forward to your review of the WSP Tobacco.
You'll get that razor dialed in asap, Danny. What a looker it is as well.
Your new photos styles are just awesome, Gary! Love the RFB as well.
    :smiley respect:
An excellent comparison and write up, Blair! Very informative and a fantastic pic as well.

Great looking combo, Clint! One of the best citrus scents you have tried? Now that is high praise indeed.

In my experience, if you want to do a team building event, DO NOT talk about Safety procedures...:scared003:. Easiest way ever to lose the room.

Thank you Jason. I really liked the scent. I have found the scent strengths moderate at best. Of course many of the EU soaps have the same philosophy on scent strength.

Thank you, Gentlemen. The MonoBilt is the only razor so far that I have had replated. I just love it.

Some people refer to them as PreWar Techs (usually with a fat handle). Not completely accurate as they were made during the war still with that baseplate, but still a name that works. I have a Canadian one.

When someone says they are holding a team building meeting, that is a euphemism for 'everyone is going to take a day to have what is really important to me beat into them'.

I can only speak for the ones I have used. Yes, I think that they are quite similar. Exactly the same? Oh probably not. The different handles would make a slight difference as well. I have the PreWar, a '51 Canadian ball end and used to have a US No Date Code (late 40s probably). The US NDC and the '51 Canadian were exactly the same. Same weight handle, same top cap and baseplate. That's why I pif'ed the US one. The PreWar with the triangle slots and fat handle is slightly different, but at that point you're probably just splitting hairs. Horrible pun intended...
Some of the European ones have aluminum parts which would change the weight significantly.

Thank you, Jason! I've already ordered a sample bottle this morning. One ounce sample is pretty generous. I also threw in a bath bar sample (they choose the scent) for $0.20. I'll let you know what I think.

Then i could buy pretty much any model and be happy with it. But i'd prefer brass, so i'll look for the older ones. My tech is probably the lightest razor i own, because at least the handle is aluminium. Top cap is the heaviest part of it.
