Just wanted to say " Great shaves " to everyone who posted today. Ive been wrapped up in paperwork and on the phone here today and didnt get a chance to stay caught up. Had to delay my first straight shave until tonight. Will post results later .
Shavettes are very dark corner of the Dark Side. We don't care what kind of light saber you use as long as it is an open blade.
OCtober with the FAT October 22 Razor -Gillette New SC Deluxe - Matthew Lives! Blade - (3) Soap - Stirling Sheep Brush -30DC Meet UP LE Post - Alum Tuesday is about in the books and I was definitely ready for a nice relaxing shave after a somewhat difficult day. Nothing seriously bad, just one of those days you think will never end. I stuck with the New SC Deluxe and Sharp Star for a third shave on that combo. Went to the Stirling Sheep to get my fix of mutton tallow in an unscented version. The 30DC Meet Up brush with the SynBad bulb knot - exceptionally nice in every way and it loaded and produced an extra rich and awesome lather. I nearly went an extra pass beyond the third just to get to enjoy that lather more. Very smooth and very invigorating with the after-shave feel using this soap. BBS in the books and it was a well spent few minutes to get that result with the gear. I'll probably go back to the LC tomorrow for a few days then finish out with the Fatip for the month. It's been a good one! We are about 9 days from NOVember - NoVariation November! Or whatever else we do with it. Have a great Wednesday tomorrow!
