  10. Patrick, congratulations on the first straight shave.....I knew you could do it!
  11. My shave this morning began not too well, and only got better with "relief" from a fresh brush-the Stoylin "li'l brudder". I began by loading the soap(Stoylin BoS)with just the tips of the Canadian Rubberset, and knew right off that it wasn't strong enough. I actually tried to load it again(in the middle of the first pass)and that was a littlebetter. But for the second, I got out the Stoylin brush, which took care of things. This shave was certainly one of my "Boy, do I need another pass!" shaves. Not great, but it will do. There's always tomorrow.

  14. 20191023_064840.jpg 20191023_065426.jpg Alright gentlemen. I was getting frustrated with my ATT shaves so I decided to give it another run. I kept everything the same as yesterday except for the blade. So if you are having trouble with weepers throw a Feather in the mix. Why not? Andrew @Linuxguile aso made a suggestion that I took to heart and tried. Apparently ATT razors require a different angle of attack. I used Andrew's suggestion and the shave was considerably better. I held the razor with the handle almost parallel to my skin with end if the handle kicked out slightly. This seems to be the trick with this razor. I did get one slight weeper but overall a better and more comfortable shave. I just need more time to get it dialed in but I see that on the horizon now. Thanks Andrew!

Coming to work and listening to Journey this morning it was an awesome 39 degrees in Alabama! Take care guys!

  16. Thank you, Clint! The boxes were overwhelming, but by last night we had made a decent dent (as long as we ignored the garage). A few more days and it will feel like home. The Oneblade may not be the best razor choice after 5 days.
