And I've read that "Dominiker'(presumably the way Bostonians pronounce it, but not me) is among the best of 'em.
Wonderful shave and photo, Clint! Nice and cool this morning, Danny! I wore a light jacket for the first time in a while. Nice shave!
I also use alum every shave, I rinse off after a few minutes. How do you like the Heritage brush? I did not know that it gets that cold in Alabama, you are colder than we are in Seoul.
Oct 23 Good morning, fellas! I am off on this sunny day so I decided to take my time shaving. Dovo Shavette shave #109 Dovo Shavette Polsilver 1/2 DE (3) Stirling Sandalwood SS and AS Nivea ASB Pinaud Clubman Styptic Pencil I am still not blooming my soaps and I still able to get a nice lather. Seriously, if I can't get a good lather with a Stirling soap, then I might as well turn in my wet-shavers card. Lol! My normal number of passes gave me a nice BBS shave, although, I did reopen a weep at the corner of my mouth. Used my styptic on that spot. Although I did not have any weepers, I also hit it under the chin and neck area and there was some burning-no biggie. Applied the matching aftershave and topped it with the Nivea ASB. My skin looks and feels like a young teenager. I am going to continue shavette shaving until the end of the month so that I have more total shavette shaves than traditional straight shaves. I am doing this because I am doing a 30 shave challenge using the same straight razor, soap, brush and aftershave for the No Variance-November shave. It really will be a 30 day focus, but it will be extended into Dec because I don't shave everyday. So, it will be traditional straight razor shaves #111 thru #140. I am planning on using my 5/8 Wosty sq pt, my Omega Pro 49, and Stirling Sandalwood SS and AS during that stretch. Anyway, you guys have a great day!
Nice shave, Danny! Gee, I am a good 15 degrees warmer than you in my neck of the woods. Have a great day, Danny!
