    I've had this too, Ken. Once in a while, depending on the blade, I've snipped a sliver off one of the tabs on the blade. This has released that tension (enough) that you mentioned.

    I arrived home today to find my TNNSER 3D and Jayaruh Brush. I recently took some time to reacquaint myself with light razors (PAA Bakelite and Souplex Bakelite).
    The razor was more efficient than my Sabre L1 with a finish which I normally only expect from my Classic Cobra......completely and utterly 'Face Feeling BBS'. with only a tingle from the Alum Test. Even after only 1 shave I can say....this razor is amazing

    Tonight's shave was with a newly restored and honed razor. I had a great 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. Zero issues, just a fantastic shave

    Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Viking Horn Decanter

    A lightweight but, not in shave performance. A super smooth performer that with just a light touch of pressure delivers a very comfortable and close shave. A 2.5 pass shave that bordered on a near complete BBS finish. Just a couple spots around Sir Adam prevented the full baby bottom. Great evening and shaves to all....
