Thank you Jim. For a long time I bought only razor heads and justified having a very nice handle on me saving money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

OCtober MWF~~Simpson~~Feather~~Old Spice Fellow shaving enthusiasts, I present the newest addition to Primo's brush stable: "The Hive" by Simpson. 22mm Manchurian knot/48mm loft (approx) Of all the beehives I have owned, this design is unique. Much taller and less bulbous than the others. The ergonomics are excellent, allowing the fingers to grip the brush just below the "Simpson" label. I have some experience with Manchurian hair as well; selling all previous because of what I would describe as excess "scrub". Needless to say, when Mark told me the handle had already been engraved with "Manchurian Badger", I was somewhat disappointed, given what I know about this hair. Much to my pleasant surprise, this knot exhibits none of the heretofore characteristics, I just described. The knot is dense, no scritch, and far less scrubby than I anticipated. The "Fan" setting also puts more hair tips on your face at once, thereby working larger than 22mm might seem. Upon opening the box, the badger had a distinctive stench, albeit not nearly as stinky as a new boar. Did a test lather and lost a hair immediately. I wasn't concerned as this is typical. With today's lathering, no further hairs were lost. The MWF succumbed to the Hive and gave up a copious amount of soap. Using mostly paintbrush strokes, I once again achieved a lather of note. With apologies to @Terry I continued for a third shave with the Feather Professional blade. BBS and about 4 weepers later I rinsed with some cold H2O, used some alum, which has been languishing in my drawer and some Thayer's. Old Spice Burley completed an epic shave from the secretive corner of the Dark Side.
OCtober 24th Razor: Gillette NEW LC Blade: Polsilver Brush: Razorock Plisoft Barber 24 PS, SC, AS: Proraso Great shave this morning. The anti-irritation shaving cream does work well. You can really smell the green tea. No fancy scents. Near BBS. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
