No... and that is one of the reasons traffic is such a pain around here.. That and almost every major road is under construction
car accident/fire/trainwreck/ect was referring to some of the topics that are posted on the forum here. Not "here" in HYD, but in the forums in general JoAnna if you see this, I am trying to be tactful.
I was afraid of that....sorry :ashamed001 Aside from Musgo, I can't think of any other cream that is known for it's lanolin..... Yeah, what's going on with that group buy deal? Any word? I've really got to start thinning the herd.....I've got so much crap now and I really don't use most of it anymore......
Fortunately I miss most of those now.... I've got two of the usual suspects on ignore, and any thread started by them I just avoid altogether.....unless someone references the thread somewhere else, then I'll peek in and see what's up.....
No, I haven't heard back, seems like it's dead in the water. Me dos. Some of the stuff I don't use, but at the same time I don't want to get rid of it since a lot of it is old stock you can't get any more. Like my bowl of Wrisley(read relabeled Yardley's ) soap, and C&E SAO cream to name a couple
so, what you're saying is "I have no desire to read anything these people post because everything they say is so asinine it gives me hives, but I'll read it if it's particularly extremely asinine."
Yeah.... well in some cases .... they have pissed me off enough that they don't deserve me not being pissed at them so I will continue to see their arsenine posts just so they don't get the relief of me not being po'd. Yes... double negatives... but I am at least doubly negative about both of them (assuming you are meaning the same two I am) I suppose we could all be talking about completely different people...
OOOh... only 15 to go Jim.... (of course by the time I have posted this.. it will probably be too late)
Perhaps we should change topics before the sleeping Giant AKA QoB awakes. I do feel your pain Justin.
So.... if I go antiquing and look at picking up a straight.... round tip... 5/8 to 13/16ths... solingen, dubl duck, other brands I will look at the thread in the appropriate forum... avoid cracks and mold looks in the scales look for pitting and nicks in the blades... any other words to the wise? Of course... I haven't seen a strop in a store yet...
Look for even blade width, some smiling is ok, some even like it. also look for even hone wear. Avoid anything made in pakistan, india, china, anything that says best, special, ect, unless its a brand you recognize. There is a list on SRP of brands to look for and brands to avoid, I'll see if I can dig it up. Usually the prices are inflated as the people think they are worth more than they are. Also make sure the blade is centered in the scales and it doesn't catch on the scales when you close it, take a camera too
Morning fellas. Been awhile since I have been able to get online. Looks like everyone is still up to the same ol' same ol. Cool thing going on with the Rolls PIF. Well, I just wanted to stop in for a second and say hello. The river is calling my name though, and those big bass are not going to catch themselves. See you guys around another time.
BTW: I have had one of the oddest breakfasts in a long long time.... fried bologna... grilled cheese with vanilla ice cream and a link of chorizo (I had the griddle hot anyway...)... My digestive system now hates HYD. Morning Jason.... Good to see you and good luck fishing!
