  3. In Canada they are non existant or if you find them they are high in price . We are left to order online and hope for the best. Luckily my last batch were won in the Shave Den raffle .

  12. Another inexpensive way is old jeans for cloth and an old belt for leather.

Just take the rhinestones out first. ;)

Glen issued a caution on just any Chromium Oxide stropping paste. He said those for buffing wheels have too large particle size. Razor strop pastes are readily available.

  15. Andrew, have you tried an "OUMO BRUSH-SHD WT(White tip) Finest two band fan bulb badger hair knots gel tip shaving brush knots" ? For $15.40 / 24mm or $16.70 / 26mm they say it's gel tip with backbone. That beats the prices I've seen elsewhere. Their Chubby two band Manchuria are a little more, nearly double that. Got a Graydog handle Danny @Hembree sent my way that's been waiting for a knot.

  18. OCtober STTS MWF & OC's

    Stirling Mentholated PSS
    Mitchell's Wool Fat SS
    '18 30DC LE Cypress & Cashmere
    Suribachi bowl, cool water
Gillette Red & Black DeLuxe OC
    fresh Voskhod blade
    RazoRock Alum stick

    Tabac AS Lotion
    SOTD 10242019.gif
Stirling PSS can be bowl lathered, though it doesn't hold for long. It does paint on for good coverage. Got a even better lather out of The Fat that was applied directly over. First couple of swings with the razor told me a blade change was due. Had a tuck right there in the case so it happened right away. Rest of the shave was as it's supposed to be. Three passes, little clean up needed, no errors. Alum didn't make me scream, hardly felt it. The Tabac lotion had more heat, but settled quickly.
    Good Shaves Y'all!
