  1. :thanks: Jason.
  2. Lol! As a Chemistry teacher, I am trained to record data. I keep a log of my open bladed shaves. I have the date, shave type, and the number of each. I also keep track of the number of shaves after a razor is honed because I want to see how many shaves I get between honings. I give this info out on TSD to be more informative in my shave descriptions as well as for posterity.

  5. Thanks Doug!
The only way I can go wrong with the bay is not to use enough, that rarely happens!

  6. Thanks, Doug! Old Nikon lenses give the photos a nice look. I just crop them, convert to B&W, possibly adjust the contrast and resize them. I have a very cheap spot light which i use for the photos.
  7. Nice shave, Terry! The brush looks good.
  8. Your photos look great.
  9. Thank you!
  10. Thanks Daniel!
Thinking I can fix em up.
    Gonna try avfew more.

  11. Nice shave Daniel!
I had a few taken off just because of that.
I recommend saying by by to them.

  12. Thanks, Daniel!
  13. Thank you, Doug!
  14. Thanks, Terry! I can shave over it just fine with mild closed comb razors and some skin stretching.
I've had one removed from my back, but the doc didn't want to remove the one from my face. Apparently there could be some scarring that could be a worse issue than the mole itself. I say the doc just wasn't skilled enough. Maybe i'll have to buy an R41 and just shave it off.. :D
My uncle just died of skin cancer this summer so i wouldn't really remove any by myself, even though it looks completely normal. I'll find a better doc at some point.
  15. From experience, my best time was 12 min on a shavette shave. I accomplished it by lathering my face with just a minimum of lathering and longer strokes than usual. I was quick, but very careful doing it while not having the red tide coming in. It is quite exhilarating doing it, but I prefer to enjoy a longer shave time.
  16. Nice shave, but you need to be careful with speed bumps, Daniel.
  17. Nice shave and brush, Terry! Have a great day!

  18. I have been eyeing the DX razors for this reason, Keith.

Any new watches while I've been away? :)

  19. Thanks, Joe! I'll try. Even though i might cut the mole once in a while, it's a huge improvement over carts for me. With them i cut it all the time, so i moved on to the single bladed Bics, which many people hate. They worked well for me. But not as well as DE:s.

  20. It's not a problem, Terry. You just need to have a few more supplies on-hand in the Den.
