-I never thought I'd be shaving with Gillette Foamy Menthol as late as yesterday. I wondered how it would feel in the cold morning. It actually wasn't that bad. I used it only because I knew it would warm up later in the day(which it did). After my debacle of trying Clubman aftershave in the summer(I think before I knew of TSD), I didn't want to be caught in a warm afternoon with a warm/hot shave soap/cream. But I discovered that I really didn't experience the coldness the menthol brought because it was cold outside anyway. Having said this, sorry
@Yehuda D,you still won't read a shave report from me in the dead of winter that includes a glacial or menthol product.
-When I posted yesterday about work to be done this coming week demolishing our parking lot only to set up a new one to be paved and repainting the white dividers, I said that the idea of my post had nothing to do with shaving. Well, it WILL pertain to it, as the fellas begin their work each morning next week at 7 AM. Thus, lovely background noise for my shaving.(I know we've all experienced THAT though at some time or other). I hope I can get through the noises with decent shaves. (Joni Mitchell-"Ya pave paradise, put up a paaaaaakin' lot". )

Prim&Prep? (I think that's the name anyway). Noteworthy tips on shaving, grooming, etc. They have lists like Best Aftershaves for 2019, (same with deodorants, bodywashes, colgones). I guess we do that in here at times, don't we?
