Thanks, Ken! I do everything from my cell phone. Good to know the picture looks alright in a larger format.
OCtober 25th Cooper MonoBilt w Astra SP AP Shave Co SynBad/Poculi Jeeves Apothecary SS Thayers Fine Fresh Vetiver AS Another great shave with the MonoBilt this morning. Love this soap base as well. I've always said that this is a very pleasant scent that I wished was a tad stronger. No matter, what a lather. As so many artisans seem to come and go, it is very easy to shrug and point out how many great products are still out there and that is absolutely true. I think everyone has a discontinued artisan that they really do miss and for me, if the rumours are true, JOHS is that artisan. What a fabulous soap base. Are others good? Of course, but it is just a personal fave. I have a few tubs in a few different scents and won't be running out anytime soon. The Tobacco Bay Leaf AS is probably in jeopardy sooner, fwiw. Jeeves stuff was only ever available in Canada through one (long since shuttered) vendor and even when I got the BoS set, I had it sent to the border and went down and got it. Have a great day all!
Great picture and report, Jason. It's a crowded market to be sure. JoHS and Mickey Lee Soapworks are two that I will miss. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Wonderful photo and shave Jason. There have been quite a few artisan soaps come and go over the years.
Thanks Jim Thanks Thanks Thanks Charlie, We are doing better and getting adjusted. Y'all are still in my prayers. I'm scared! Just checked it out. Great price the Calypso is $96.00 which is the same razor with a black handle and top cap. Very intersting but I'll pass. Take care.
I shouldn't be spending time browsing shaving stuff on ebay. My wallet doesn't really like that at all.
Pine Tar soap? Skin Bracer? Clubman? You are an old soul, Daniel...awesome. Glad to hear your shave and day are going well, Terry! Charlie's back....yes! What? No red, white and blue brush to match? Awesome pic again, Perry, and enjoy the dinner tonight! Lovely blues, Gary! That cased razor is a stunner. Awesome, Jim! A very unique sounding scent based on the description I just look up, as well. Of course you have a red, white and blue brush to match the splash bottle. Of course you do. Fantastic again, Jim! Sounds like a great shave, Clint. That is one of those soaps that you don't see all that often, but seems to be very well respected. What a cool old soap, Tom! Awesome. That brush is not slouch either. Not I.
