I may not be able to comment on each shave but I am going through all of the post. As y'all know I lost both of my parents a short time ago and my wife got something dropped in her lap on the 17th of this month. My mother in law had my wife when she was 14. My wife knew her dad's name but has never met him. Her grandparents raised her. Of course this has affected her over the years and I had even mentioned years ago that we would try and find him if she wanted. She said no and said not to worry about it. Her mom always talked negative about her dad which will give you the wrong mind set when you are little. Long story short my wife was contacted via a Facebook message by her half sister that she did not know existed. They had been trying to find my wife. My wife has 3 half sisters, 1 half brother that she did not know about and multiple nieces and nephews. Her dad is still alive and doing great and has been married to the same woman since 1970 and is retired from Conrail. This is a lot for my wife to take in and she has been talking with her half sister that reached out to her for a good while trying to sort all of this out. It is a lot on her so please keep my wife in your prayers. Our family just exploded and we are probably going back to Pennsylvania at the end of November to visit family that we did not know existed.
I actually don't usually like the more modern scents. Some of them give me a really bad headache. But Clubman and Skin Bracer, not to mention the Pine Tar.. I love them. Thanks
Thank you, Jason. It is unique. It changes so much throughout the day. PAA AS last quite a while, so it is really interesting to experience one like this as it starts really strongly with the gunpowder, but later the florals really kick in.
Thanks Jim, I think it will be great for my wife once she gets everything figured out. They seem to be a close family and my wife's dad never keep her as a secret to his family.
Wow, that's quite the story, Danny. I'll be praying for your family as you experience all of the new relationships.
I have a pair of 30 mm SHD Manchuria brushes coming (one bulb, one fan). These will be my first experience with Oumo products. But they have a lot of good reviews.
I am not sure how I would react to such news, Danny. Good luck to your wife in this new chapter of her life.
It is tough one but the new family seems to be pretty solid. Lot of unkowns to go through. Thanks Joseph.
Don't really know what to say to this one, but i hope they are good people and you'd get along with them well! Prayers to you and your wife.
That's a tough one, Danny. My wife was adopted at birth. As far as she's concerned the man and woman who provided for her and loved her are mom and dad. She's never had the urge to seek out her biological parents. She did one of those DNA ancestry tests. A Christmas gift from our daughter. She was contacted by a second cousin. Turns out my wife's biological mother is living in Illinois and she has a half brother and half sister. I don't know what's going to happen moving forward.
You both had emotional stresses in a short period of time. I know this may sound very trite, but take it one day at a time. Praying for you and your family, Danny.
Thanks Jim, I think that is the tough part...the unknowns. The way I understand he has always loved my wife and somehow got a graduation picture of her and has always carried it. He even attended her graduation but did not make it known because he did not want to start any problems. You would just have to know the family dynamics on my wife side of the family .....not very good. That is why I am hoping that this will work out and be good for her. Take care.
