Interesting, Clint. If you haven’t used OS since your teen years, you would only have used the Shulton product. To your nose, is the Indian Cream close?
    Fantastic pic, btw.

Nice combo, Terry. I hear you on picking razors...that’s why I usually let the monthly focus on here help me a bit.

Thank you. The background is my wife's ear ring display setup for craft shows. I really don't recall the OS scent from my youth so I can't compare.

My pleasure. Great shave. Love the razor. It belongs in the MOMA in NYC.

Just awesome, Jim. You don’t use black and white very often, but that is just amazing.

Thank you Tom. The cream worked great. I never thought about it but the razor does have a modern art vibe to it.

    SOTD October 26, 2019

Prep: Cold water and Proraso pre-shave
    Blade: Kai Captain Mild
    Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk
    Brush: Sapele beehive badger
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine L'Orange Noir aftershave

Excellent shave today. This beautiful brush, made by @jtspartan, whipped up tremendous Fat lather. Used some Proraso pre-shave for a little menthol. Just one pass with the Black Hawk is all I needed for a lazy Saturday. Really enjoying the scent of L'Orange Noir as well.

Will be watching football all day with some cold beer. Sounds pretty great. Enjoy your day!

Thank you, Jason! We seem to enjoy a lot of the same scents, so I pay attention to your choices and keep those scents in mind. This bottle was an easy grab on BST.

Thank you, Jim! Jason made this for me but I got it not long before we moved. I wasn’t able to have a knot installed until a couple of months ago. I’ve used it several times but my photos the past month or so haven’t featured the brush or splash. It’s just been soap and razor.
