  2. Do you have the white leisure suit to go with it?
  3. Out'Cash OCtober

After some small consultation, therapy, and counseling at the skilled hands of our very own @jluc and @clint64 who fearlessly convinced me that I needed a shiny new Supply injector, I reluctantly agreed.

    Stirling for Him SS
    Simpson Emperor 2 Super Badger
Polished Supply Stainless Steel Single Edge - medium plate
    Supply blade (1)
    Stirling for Him AS

My only other injector is a Schick I1. It always shaves well and I always wonder why I don't use it more. Loaded with a Chick blade, it is my only point of reference for comparison.

The razor is heavy! I only have one razor in that weight class. I had to adjust from the light I1. The angle is a little different but not hard to find.

The combo produced a good shave, but fell slightly short of what the Schick normally delivered. At this point, I'm thinking blades. I'll run it with a Chick tomorrow.

My guess is that the blade change will be an improvement. Then I will see how it is with the Proline blades.

One of the things that attracted me to the Supply Single Edge was the simplicity to clean.

The Stirling for Him is one of the top scents on the Max Headroom List of Most Glorious Stanks. I always love it.

  10. Once in awhile you get lucky and the right person doesn't show up to get their order. I had some pretty good steak tacos the other day that were "orphaned". It's always better to be lucky than good!
  11. @clint64 is the real deal when it comes to disco. :)

  15. This evening, I was on my way to a coffeehouse when I decided to have some pizza. I knew that there was a Sally's Beauty Supply in the same shopping strip so I decided to check it out after inhaling my meal. I was only going to browse, but that never happens in this hobby. I came upon the Barbury synthetic brush which cost $7.49. It looks like a badger and I figured that I can't go wrong purchasing it. After tonight's event, I couldn't wait to get home and test it. I decided to use the brush with the Proraso Green SS to check the performance. I have to say that I was impressed. This brush has a pretty good backbone. I wetted the brush and it picked up the soap to make a very nice lather. I was able to lather my face with 3 separate rounds. I just wanted to bring this brush to everyone's attention. If you are looking for an inexpensive synthetic brush to add to your rotation or as a travel brush, then I recommend this brush. I will feature this brush on my next shave.

  18. I enjoy the weekend shaves as I have more than 24 hours of stubble to remove and I can take my time and enjoy the shave. Today is my biggest razor, Mike Martines Karasu measuring in at full 9/8. The edge is just wicked sharp but still very smooth. I most enjoyable shave.

  19. Yes, of course!

I cracked up when i noticed that the bass player is Pekka Pohjola. He was a really talented guy, if anyone is into fusion jazz or prog rock (or something in between), i'd recommend looking him up.
