My day got off to a stinker start....for the second time I couldn't shut off my shower water due to the rag getting in the way. I can't explain it any other way. A maintenance man came(he was paged by the main line), and got it shut off, but our regular maintenance man told him to shut off the entire water system here(in the apt). (until he could come. Prior to reporting the problem, I actually managed to have my shave(with the shower water still running). One pass only, but it was good enough. With no water power, my breakfast consists of a cup of applesauce and some OJ. This way, the only unwashed(for now)item in the sink will be the OJ glass and the spoon for the applesauce. The regular maintenance man should be here in a half-hour or so. I hate this-the other time this happened was ALSO on a Sunday morning.

I just ordered a puck of Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap. I was feeling a little left out of the club! Now I can officially do fat Fridays correctly.
Yes.....maybe wasting extra soap on the brush isn't so bad after all, lol. But normally, I do the extra pass for the closer shave. The one pass only was fine for my face, at least.
