The SV Felce Aromatica smells fabulous. The scent is simply intoxicating. I changed up the my pass routine and went with a 2 pass shave, ATG followed by XTG. I managed to catch the baby after touch ups and buffing my neck. A splash of the matching aftershave keeps the scent going. My wife and I are off to visit my Mom and take her to lunch. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

    Good Sunday morning everyone.
    Hope everyone is doing fine.
Been doing some relaxing wandering round, nice for a change. Normally on a time schedule, yesterday, not so much.
Changed some gears this morning so to speak, tried out a Rubberset brush for no other reason than it's an easy day, so far. Used it with some Stirling on the face, stiffer than I'm used to, doesn't cover the skin as well as other brushes I use either. I found a 53 Super Speed at a antique store I haven't been to for a while for 5 bucks, case and all. Used a Feather for the first pass, was OK, loaded another Feather and did the second pass. Not as close as I like but an OK shave.
The gord was needing a good mowing so...
I tried to lather up but the Rubberset set is not up to the task, just to much real estate. Oh, I'm sure it will eventually work, but I'm not spending the day here. Pulled out my newly knoted brush to take over from there. Got a good lather in moments and took to the task of cutting down a days growth of stubble. Well.....
The 53 SS is just to calm and laid back for this job. Don't get me wrong, the super speed is OK, nothing wrong with it, I just don't want to do 4 passes to get where I like to be. I don't chase the baby, but I like a clean shave. Did one pass and well, what to do??? what do do???
I went to the razor stash, hummmmm.
A Monobit, that's the way! A new Feather blade and my Monobit, back to the sink.
The second and last pass on the gord with the Cooper Monobit and THAT's where I should be.

So 2 brushes, 2 razors and 3 blades later, I'm finished. I now have plenty of super speed razors, that I really don't use, all of which work perfectly fine.
    Well.......
I'm behind in the thread, I will try to catch up, but today if all works out, I'm gonna get caught up around the house.
Might even put a bead on some tree rats.
    Everyone
    Enjoy!

I would say that it was an interesting way of shaving, Terry. Glad it worked for you. Have great Sunday!

Update-the man is here. I know it's part of his job in this kind of situation, but I feel bad for hauling him here on a Sunday morning, yet grateful he's here.

I've always loved these "loofas"(I think it's called that), but for some reason the way you hang it over the shower handle can prevent the shower from going off. That's the part I can't explain, as in all the years I've been here, it never caused that problem until a few weeks ago, and now today. . Guess I'll have to find one that LOOKS like a loofa but doesn't have a string to hang it onto something. Frustrating-annoying...at least the maint. man is here working on it.

I remember telling a member here that I think the Super Bowl should be in the same stadium each year-and I mentioned the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Then, I suddenly thought-oh, what if the Cowboys themselves will be playing in it. The member replied by sending me a picture of pigs flying lol.

First time using the Sterling. Great smell and lathered well. The Croma did its job but pulled a bit.
