SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Vintage Life's Licorice Shave Soap Jayaruh #340 Badger J.A. Henckels CVS CS SE PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Vintage Life's Licorice Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the J.A. Henckels razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Wild and windy in Northern California... Charcoal Goods Copper...what an incredibly beautiful and smooth shaver. I love the feel of the copper and the way it conducts temperature. Elite Amboyna Burl two band, and RazoRock Sta. Maria Del Fiore Soap and AS. Epic.
Eco/Treet Platinum. I went straight to two stacked blades as recommended by a friend on another forum. Very good shave, no problem with the head shave, whether two blades improves things I guess I'll test next time with a single blade. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

The Way It Is 4 Monday(10/28): prep-Nivea 4 Men Bodywash(Maximum Hydration )-from the sink* shave-Burma Shave Soap cake** brush-Crown King Synthetic(forgot the name, Senior Moment here) razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE A.S.-Aqua Velva Musk.. *-yes, you read that right...as some of you know, my shower/bathtub needs a major replacement, thus all my personal hygiene will be performed at the sink until they finish the work,. **-I know there was a lot of commentary as to why I call it a cake, not a puck. My defense was that it's too "high" to be a puck...more resemblance to a cake(to me). Now I have the final proof, right from the package. I can't show it, but it says "This single cake will provide you with several months of hot lather shaves". Source: Burma Shave by Personna-Satisfaction Guaranteed - American Safety Razor Co.
Thanks Gary...... more "effort" will be involved, but it'll be nice to get out the Burma Shave again.
It was basic. Decent shave with a little irritation. Old Spice is a comfy shave mostly for Sunday's. And of course, one of my faves and my most used shave I think.
Hey Friends, Shave of the Day 27.10.2019 Razor: Weber Blade: Gillette Wilkinson (2) Soap: Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica Brush: Plisson Synthetic Aftershave: Alpa Fougere Today i tried my Gillette Wilkinson for my first "complete" shave. I think my reference, the Polsilver Super Iridium has a new contender. Smooth, especially in the 3rd pass, against the grain, the blade felt a touch smoother as the Polsilver. But it is very gentle, thoroughly and sharp. The Soap and the razor are almost perfect. The lather smells heavenly and the Weber has done a fantastic job mowing down my whiskers. The Alpa Fougere paired great with the soap. Great shave. Maybe this shave could be my last one for a longer Time...maybe i will take part in "No Shave November" , so it will be eventually a bit quite about me. Have a great shave, have a good start into the new week and take care. Greetings Thorsten
Thanks Douglas. I am moving to the stage where I could say that I prefer smaller knots. It takes a bit more work to produce a lather but the extra work appears to benefit the result.
Thx Tim. Good to see you rolling the Spice out again on Sundays. Most underrated frag out there! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
