I picked up a Gillette super click to see what it is like after using the dorco. The gillette is much cheaper made.. going to use it just the same to see how it works. not expecting much

 

Dom, if you cannot find a drive for your girlfriends lappy let me know. I have one here that may work.

I won't be lonely. Cal and Pam are still here playing. Last night was lonely. I bored Bong to sleep.

at least that thing was solid this one is not that sturdy.. i can see the top breaking off soon. just plastic that hinges over and snaps down.. but for a few bucks figured I would try it. I like the adventure of getting a good shave from cheap stuff.. I always have the good stuff to fall back on.

Thanks for the offer on the drive. I've been looking around a little and haven't found one yet, but I'll keep looking for a bit and then let you know if I could use the one you're offering.

Its a brand new drive that I have never found a machine it will work in. Came from the Egg set as a slave IDE setting and none of my lappys would see it.

Yup. Girlfriend's laptop CD drive stopped working around the end of last year.

 

Way too much $ for me. I like the cheap user grade ones myself.

 

The roomie got one of those a few months ago.. paid like 500 for it. been doing good so far.
