Monday again. A very uneventful shave this morning. As expected the Frozen Mojitos was easy to whip into a rich slick lather with its light cooling adding to the shave. Three passes, touch ups and buffing my neck caught the baby without nicks, weepers or irritation. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Thank you, Joseph! There is tons of Fat left. This was a new puck that I grated into the container. I had used it two or three times before the October challenge started. The Fat lasts forever for me. The last puck yielded over 100 shaves.

    Good morning!
DSC_0591.JPG After yesterdays shave with the plastic face-scraper, it was nice to pick up a DE again. I went for my 34c, and i decided to try a Wilkinson Sword blade. After the first pass i was already closer than what i could get with the disposable. I did a second pass and touch-ups as well, and got a DFS with some very minor irritation. I think i'll try the same blade in my Slim Twist tomorrow, haven't used it in a while.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks, Jim! I decided to add some vignetting this time. Might have overdone it a bit. :D

    OCtober
    [IMG]
    MWF~~Rubberset 400/3~~Gillette Adjustable (D3)~~Wilkinson Chromium~~SC Lavender Mint
Final week of this month's focus, and you can clearly see that my MWF is going to outlast OCtober.
No OC for today's shave. Inspired by Guy @ram57 I reached for my 1958 D3 Gillette Adjustable with,
I might not-so-humbly add, an original case and unopened 6 blade-bank/instructions.
I have to thank Matt at Razor Emporium for hooking me up with the case and blades.
The Fatboy was one of my first BST razor purchases back in 2015 and I was fortunate to score
a wonderful exemplar. The entire Gillette presentation, while not very rare, is mos def© good-looking.
The Rubberset with its long handle was efficient and quiet in its loading of the MWF.
I am at that stage when the soap simply does not want to go away!
How long can Primo load :signs002:
That rhetorical question is moot, because I loaded just long enough to get another
huge amount of rich 'n creamy suds, which coated my kisser with a base of
slick 'n rich, smooth 'n shiny, protective 'n cushiony luscious lather.
Of course, when you use a Light Brigade DE blade, you could probably get away with
ivory soap loosely lathered on your skin, so smooth 'n sharp are these blades.
Latherings two and three are always better with MWF. Is it the extra H2O on the skin :signs002:
    Me thinks so.
In any case, the shave was successful and without any signs of red corpuscles.
Eschewed the Thayer's and went to an ASB, which is normally reserved for the Dopp kit:
Soap Commander Wisdom, which is a Lavender/Mint product with a slightly
artificial aura. Mos def© no replace when gone. :rolleyes005:

If I was out there bathing with no shower use for a week(or whenever muh men get here), that creek would have some lovely additions of shampoo, bodywash, and deodorant soap. As for shaving, I'll use your bathroom. :).

Thank you Joseph. The razor with it’s different combinations has become one of my favorites.
