Went to Home Depot. Bought Rocketbook Did some yard work (not gardening, that's not manly. YARD WORK!) Shaved the beard that I had been growing for like 10 days.
I used the leaf-blower to vacuum and mulch the leaves on my deck. (It has separate attachments for this.)
I was confused the first time I read it as ...leaves on my desk... Using the leaf blower outside makes much more sense.
I shot with a ridiculously light bow yesterday (not allowed t shoot the grown-up bow until my eyes are done & healed.) What's so "manly" about this, you ask? When a bow has so little power, the only way to hit a target with any accuracy is by using your very best technique.
Well, yesterday was manly. Fire season is long gone so I fired up my new (least manly size) Stihl chainsaw and cleared windfall off about 200 yards of long-neglected forest road. A small saw and a sharp chain were the perfect combination. Only about another 300 yards to go. Today is more about house and laundry - family celebration tonight.
Birthday for the youngest and a solid start on a student household after a year in the dorms. Five sophomore boys in a house and no disasters yet. Yay!
Shooting a bow with a 12-pound drew weight (which is VERY light) I managed to Robin-Hood an arrow. and it was in the exact center of the target.
Uhhhhh, doesnt sound too manly. But, I'm not judging you. Were you cleaning any guns while watching?? Wrestling a gator? Chopping wood, or winning an arm wrestling contest during the video?? ..
Great pics! I'm no an expert of dendrology, but I think you last picture is of a White Swamp Oak and a small Sugar Maple.
