I'll bring the Agadir A.S. and The Soap Exchange soap(Lumberjack). Forgot about the Clubgentleman issue. . As for the loofa, I need to find something that won't put me back in the habit of hanging it over the shower valve(as I did for years before the first of these incidents occurred). But then, maybe I'll get a walk-in shower as the "replacement". Oops, pigs just flew out my window.
Oct 28th Proraso PS Red Wholly Kaw SS - King of Oud J.A. Henkels Friodur INOX 472 6/8 Wild West Brushworks w/Zenith Boar Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Star Jelly Art of Shaving - Oud Suede Cologne Intense 2.5 pass DFS+ The Wild West Brushworks handle w/Zenith boar accomplished wonderful slick face lather today. Wholly Kaw SS is from a BST with @Frijolero. Had to pull out an old favorite, the Friodur....2.5 smooth & easy passes with no shenanigans at all. WTG/XTG and then buffed the neck with an opposite XTG pass. Finished with more favorites, PAA Star Jelly (lightly mentholated) and AoS Oud Suede. Smooth shaven, smelling great and ready for a Monday! Very busy week....will be following along as I can. Ready for a 'No Repeat November'. Hope everyone has a Great Day!
Here's the latest on the shower-valve replacement issue-the work will be done next Monday at 9-ish. That's one week of "creative personal-hygiene prepration" for me(Course shaving won't be an issue, as I've said). Survival, mama!
Thanks for the comment! The Oud Suede is marketed as cologne. Very prominent and sophisticated aroma at first, but subsides slowly over 6-8 hours for me. From their website..... Head Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, and Rosemary Heart Notes: Geranium Bourbon, Lavandin, and Saffron Base Notes: Patchouli, Cedarwood, Vetiver, Gaiac, Cypriol: obtained through steam distillation of the roots after they have been washed and dried. Oud wood: obtained through very slow distillation of the best wood chips (chosed for their high concentration in oil) Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Aqua/Water/Eau, Parfum/Fragrance, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Benzyl Alcohol, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Coumarin, Citronellol, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Geraniol, Citral, Benzyl Benzoate, BHT.
Oh ok thanks......perhaps they have an Oud-like aftershave. But for now, my Agadir will suffice. The "A-men" are all about Oud Wood. .
I do, and I just might once or twice. Thanks for the thought Joe-it has been on my mind. Another thing I thought of was to try the salon my Mom loved and frequented-her last appointment was about a couple weeks before her illness that eventually led to her passing. They should recognize me-I was her driver in her last years. But certainly the gym shower appeals the most.
