    I gave up goo in a can years ago because I get a better shave with shaving soaps. However, I have always said, "It is your shave; it's your way."

    Yep, whatever works for you.

    I like using canned foam if the scent is decent. Gels, not so much. But the Nivea sensitive one works decently, if you thin it out with enough water. Straight out of the can it's just too thick and not slick at all.

    Thank you gentlemen for the compliments . Just running flat out trying to prep house for winter . A window and a roof to do yet then need to get my 4x4 working on the truck. My dog is sick again and i'm praying shes not at the end yet . Been such a great companion to me over the last 10 years and i wish she would make it 10 more . Take care everyone .

    Another nice two pass shave this morning. No irritation, but the shave didn't last quite as long as it should have. Not bad at all, just not as long lasting as I had hoped.

    I had to do a quick clean up pass, as i don't have enough time to shave in the morning and i'll have to look somewhat socially acceptable (yeah that isn't going to happen) tomorrow.
    I used the Rocket HD500, Treet carbon steel blade and Proraso goo with matching AS. Small dab of Nivea ASB to finish. No picture, sorry. Very uneventful shave, no irritation or bleeding.
    I might skip tomorrow or shave in the evening, depending on when my Tabac stick arrives. I'm planning to do my next shave with it.
