    Heavy Duty!
    Razor: Gillette #58
    Blade: Gillette 7 o'Clock Greens
    Brush: Vulfix #26
    Soap: T&H Sandlewood

I haven't been shaving of late. I am on a long weekend and thought to give my mush a break from the blade for a few days. However, i am learning that my beard is extremely tough and in going back to the blade, i could think of nothing better than a 7 o'clock blade and a heavy duty razor.

I have said tbis before but the British razors of the 50's were perhaps the pinnacle of wet shaving. The #58 is magnificent. An almost hydraulic TTO action and a fit and finish which would embarrass modern efforts.
I haven't used it for a while but oh boy, what a shave! Genuine BBS and the blade/razor pairing barely twitched at my tough stubble.
The brush played a blinder as usual and the only duff instrument in this symphony was the soap. T&H is perfect except for one thing: Performance. Its a bit slack on the slickness and lather. Still, smells great and it did ok-ish.
    What a razor!

    Shave on.

Thanks Doughas......I have revisited my smaller brushes. Because I have to do a little work.....the results have been spectacular.. I can't just paint on the lather. I have to work it in

Fragrance/Aftershave - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements/Crown King - Atomic Age Bay Rum in Stoneware Jug

I tried to save a sample of the Atomic Pumpkin Balm from last year, but upon pulling it from the plastic baggy I found it somehow dried out. So, I will just roll with the normal Atomic Age Bay Rum. Will be an awesome shave.
